Nativity’s Got Talent!
Mark your calendars for March 12, 2015 for the return of the Nativity Talent Show.
There are two ways for a student to participate in the talent show.
Students may participate in a group skit. Group skits will be organized by class and grades. Each class will be contacted individually regarding the skit and rehearsal dates.
Students may also plan their own individual skit, comedy, a dance, poetry, singing, anything and everything – be creative! Individual talent acts must be presented to the committee on the designated date, which will be the end of February or very beginning of March. Students providing their own skit should start preparing now. The skit must be complete (including music, costume, props…whatever is needed) for the committee viewing day.
Parents, if your child is bringing an individual skit to the committee, please make sure the skit is prepared and 100% complete by the end of February. Also, if music is involved, fully screen the music, including listening to the lyrics to ensure the lyrics are appropriate. Inappropriate songs will not be allowed.
All skits should be no more than 2 1/2 minutes. Students may participate in up to 2 skits, including a group class skit.
There will be a mandatory full dress rehearsal after school on Tuesday, March 10th.
Group skits and practice dates will be announced soon.
We look forward to seeing the creativity of the amazing Nativity children!
