Dear Friends of Nativity,
-I would like to thank Mrs. Esack, Fr. Peter and Mrs. Pallante for their help with the 8th grade retreat that was held at St. Francis Park last Friday. The students spent their time reflecting on who they are currently and thinking about the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead of them in the future. The students also performed skits related to the Fruits of the Spirit, attended mass and also participated in Eucharistic Adoration.
It was a wonderful spiritual experience and a great way to help strengthen the relationships of the Class of 2020.
-Please be sure to purchase your tickets to The Second Annual Nativity of Our Lord Gala being held at The Orchard Park Country Club on Saturday November 16th from 6:00-10:00 pm. The Gala is the premiere social event of the Nativity school year. It’s a great evening to help raise funds for the HSA and is also an opportunity to honor a great friend of the Nativity of Our Lord School and Parish family, Mrs. Kathy Orie. Kathy is a longtime parishioner and a great supporter of the school and parish. I hope you all take the opportunity to support this very important fund raising event and help us honor a fine member of the Nativity community, Kathy Orie.
For any information regarding tickets or sponsorship opportunities please contact the main office-662-7572.
-Once again this year Nativity students will be participating in the Nativity Thanksgiving Meal which will be held on Thursday November 21st from 11:05-12:25 in the cafeteria. The students will be preparing a meal to show thanks and appreciation to members of the Nativity school and parish community. The homeroom parents will be reaching out to parents to help assist with the food planning, preparation and serving.
